What exactly is happening?

Bullhorn is acquiring MaxHire to create the world’s largest and most experienced recruiting software team. The combined companies will operate under the Bullhorn brand. The Vancouver office will serve as the combined company’s West Coast office, housing support, development, professional service and sales teams.

How does the acquisition benefit MaxHire customers?

MaxHire customers will benefit from the combined organization’s extensive resources, speeding the arrival of a cross-platform, mobile-friendly solution, as well as greater investment in service at all levels.

What will happen to the MaxHire software product?

  • MaxHire will continue to be supported and users will not be required to migrate to Bullhorn.
  • The MaxHire development team will continue to maintain MaxHire and make changes as needed to service customers for as long as the product is in use.
  • Key MaxHire capabilities and customer requirements will be included in a next generation, combined product update for both MaxHire and Bullhorn customers to migrate to.
  • The current MaxHire product will no longer be sold to new customers.

Will there be any changes to MaxHire support?

The MaxHire support team will continue to support MaxHire from the Vancouver office providing the same great service MaxHire customers currently receive.

Can we still add users and bring on new lines of business?

Yes. MaxHire customers can add and remove users on demand with no changes to user administration. If you need to add new lines of business, train users, or tune up your MaxHire implementation, all the same professional services are available.

What happens if I need custom reports, training or other services?

MaxHire professional services will continue to run out of the Vancouver office and service existing MaxHire customers. Professional services provides custom solutions to help you get the most out of MaxHire including custom training, reports, dashboards, and tune-up implementations.

Will the current MaxHire product be shut down eventually?

The next generation of MaxHire will be a combined product update for both MaxHire and Bullhorn customers with significant improvements MaxHire customers have requested including cross-platform and tablet support. There is no timeline to shut down the current MaxHire product, but we anticipate most MaxHire customers will voluntarily migrate to the new product when it’s available.

When will the new product MaxHire and Bullhorn are building together be ready?

The combined resources of MaxHire and Bullhorn will help us create a new product much faster. In fact, we’ve already started. The estimated development time is 18-24 months and we will continue to provide updates throughout the process. After the new product is available, we will provide an upgrade path for all MaxHire customers.

Can I migrate to Bullhorn now if I want?

Yes. If the current Bullhorn product is a better fit for your requirements, you can migrate to Bullhorn now. A special migration path for MaxHire customers is available. Please contact sales@maxhire.net for more information.

What will Peter’s role be in the new organization?

Peter Blitz, MaxHire’s president and product manager, will be the Product Innovation Officer for the combined entity. Peter will design new cutting-edge features for the next generation software. Learn more in his blog post about the future of staffing software.
